Dear Friends,
The following letter from Senator Sanders to Michael Froman, the US Trade Representative speaks for itself.  There can only be one reason to keep the proposal secret from the public is that the TPP benefits the giant multi-national corporations but not the average American.

    What are your thoughts about Bernie Sanders running for president? I love him. The concern may be if he runs as an independent and splits the liberal vote. Thoughts?

    I think that his job is to move the Democratic party back to the left. I have the same concern that if he runs as an independent in the general election, he will split the vote. He is correct that the Democrats continue to lose because they are moving to the right to try to be Republican lite and not sticking with true progressive principles.
